We went to the Dr today to get the results of the x-rays and culture swabs. The x-ray shows no bone infection which was really good, but the cultures also came back negative for any bacteria and staph. Now we're checking for skin cancer. He took 2 biopsies today and is sending them off for testing. He's also testing for fungal infections so I dunno about that. >_>; We asked if the fact that she was taking antibiotics when they did the swab would affect the test and he said yes but even if that was the case it wouldn't matter. That with all of the antibiotics and ointment creams it would be getting better if it was an infection. The fact that it's gotten way worse while she's been taking all this says to him that it's not a bacterial infection. So we now wait yet another week for the biopsies to come back. We go back the same time next Tuesday. We asked if we should be concerned about how deep it was and did they think it was really bad like we did. They laughed at us and then told us about this lady who was there a month or so ago and had gotten bit by a wolf spider and the skin had decayed so badly that it was as big around as a cantalope and so deep you could fit your whole fist into it. Me and mom were sitting there like O____O!!!!........ *silence*... D: .... So yeah. >_> That made us feel a little bit better about it's depth. lol That other woman got ok too! <3 Which was good. He must not think it's any super bad cancer (though he doesn't know much about cancer as that's not specifically his field) or else I think he would have either admitted her into the hospital for observation and treatment or tried to hurry the biopsy results sooner. So that's where we are so far. Still keep praying for her though!! <3 Every prayer helps. I've been trying so hard to put this in Gods hands but it's really hard to let go of the worry and such. I want to control the outcome myself so badly, but I know that's not possible. I do have faith in Him though.
